Antigua and Barbuda announces Grammy Presentation for Antigua Gospelfest 2016!!
Antigua and Barbuda is the perfect place to escape to for an exciting weekend this October. Scheduled the same week of Antigua and Barbuda’s 35th Independence Celebrations, Antigua Gospelfest 2016 presents for the first time in Antigua, the six-time Grammy Award Winner Worship Leader Israel Houghton & New Breed.
The organisers Emerge Antigua, along with the Antigua and Barbuda Ministry of Tourism, Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority and other main sponsors are pleased to offer this level of event to the people of Antigua & Barbuda, surrounding islands and expected international patrons.
Israel Houghton will attract a wide range of people from all church backgrounds.
“Israel Houghton is undoubtedly the one of the most prominent church music influences within the Caribbean, with songs broadcast and sung weekly island wide,” said the Organisers.
Also announced for Antigua Gospelfest are international favourites Jonathan Nelson (USA), DJ Nicholas (Jamaica), and multi-award winning Gospel Artist Sherwin Gardner; regional Caribbean favourites Blessed Messenger (Trinidad and Tobago), Joshua Ali (Trinidad and Tobago) and Neesha Woodz (Barbados). Gospel lovers can also catch performances by hometown artistes such as Emerge Gospel Challenge winners Peetron Thomas, Dornell Simon, Young Phenom and many more who will perform at the event alongside Antigua’s Gospel Sensations Romancia Kingston and Naycha K.I.D.
