Rachel Browne has worked in the tourism industry for  almost 30 years .  She has had the opportunity to work both in hotels and also as Marketing and Sales Director for an island  destination – with responsibilities for the UK and Europe. For the past 14  years she has been the GM at Hermitage Bay where under her leadership the property has won numerous intentional awards and accolades . She is also responsible for establishing the Hermitage Bay Caring Foundation Charity – which supports  the disadvantaged and vulnerable in our community – whether in health care , education, general well being, sports and the environment . 

Rachel has a keen interest in youth development within the industry and  makes it a priority to provide internships and mentorship to Antiguan Students of hospitality. She is all in as called upon to serve in what ever capacity for the development of the Tourism protect of Antigua & Barbuda .

She’s been a Director of the ABHTA for the last two years and have worked conscientiously on various projects spearheaded by the association .
