RULES AND REGULATION OF COMPETITION
- Entry – All hotels and restaurants may only submit one participant
- All Submissions must be accompanied by an original recipe of the participating bartender. Each entry will be initially evaluated and judged by this submission. Drink names with rude, lurid, sexual words or associated with narcotics will be disqualified
- A total of nine finalist will face off in the Taste of Wadadli Mixologist competition
- Each recipe must utilize no more than 5 ingredients
- All recipes must include a base spirit and a garnish.
- The base/featured ingredient will be selected from a Mystery Basket
- All drinks must be shaken or stirred, blended drinks are prohibited
- Ingredients may be measured using a jigger or similar measure or freely pored
- Participants will be judged on:
- Cleanliness of work area
- Technique
- Style/skills
- Presentation
- Drink will be made live in an outdoor environment. Each Bartender will be given his/her own workspace
- A time limit of four (4) minutes will be allocated in the preparation of the drinks
- Participants must prepare four glasses 3 (three) to be served to judges and (one) for the photo area
- Homemade ingredients are welcomed
- Competitors must supply their own bartending utensils (Shaker, bar spoon, strainer etc.)
- Cocktails can be presented in any shape glassware
- Organizers will provide frozen iced cubes

- Payment may be made via cash or cheque
- Cheques are to be made payable to the Antigua & Barbuda Hotels and Tourism Association
