Welcome to the Antigua & Barbuda Hotels and Tourism Association – Professional Learning Series. Providing training opportunities is one of the core activities of the ABHTA. We recognize the importance of the development of our human resources if we are going to advance the hotel sector of Antigua and Barbuda. February 2024 Training  Our February Professional Learning Series is being presented with the following course:

1. Purchasing and Cost Control Management Course – Facilitator, Mrs. Shabera Jacobs(February 28 – 29).

March 2024 Training

1. Housekeeping Certification Course – Facilitator, Ms Patricia Tully (March 5 – 6).
2. 4-week Conflict Management and Resolution – Facilitator, Ms Shirlene Nibbs  (March 7- 28).

September/October 2024 Training

1. 6-week Supervisory/Management Leadership Development Course! – Facilitator, Ms Shirlene Nibbs (Sep 26th – Oct  – 31st 2024).
2. SERVSAFE© 3-Day Food Safety Manager Certification Training Workshop – Facilitator, Ms. Julie-Ann Laudat (Oct 15th – 17th 2024) 

TRAINING NEWS  – ABHTA Professional Learning Series offers professional qualification for Industry Workers – ABHTA Completes another Successful Series of Career Building for Industry Professionals  – Over a Hundred (100) Hospitality Professionals advanced towards Their Career Goals with ABHTA Training – Thirty-Three (33) Hospitality Industry Professionals receive Certification in Labour Relations & Human Resource Development
