Antigua and Barbuda Hotels and Tourist Association appoints Patrice Simon as Executive Director

The Antigua and Barbuda Hotels and Tourist Association (AHTA), the representative voice of the local tourism private sector and advocates for its stakeholders both locally and internationally, is pleased to announce the appointment of Patrice Simon as Executive Director.

Mrs. Simon will lead the AHTA team focusing on the core organizational goal of ensuring co-operation between its membership hotels, guest houses, and other related businesses with the Government of Antigua and Barbuda and international stakeholders.

“We are pleased to welcome Mrs. Simon to the Association. She brings her broad knowledge and expertise to the continued advancement and mutual co-operation of the sector where it is essential that the AHTA works closely with the Government and Government-sponsored bodies on matters affecting the Tourist Industry” remarked Alex deBrito, Chairman of Board of the AHTA.
Mrs. Simon brings over fifteen years of knowledge and marketing experience to her role as Executive Director, having worked previously as a Marketing Manager in the hospitality industry and more recently as a Regional Marketing Manager in the telecoms sector.

“I look forward to working closely with all members of the AHTA and with the Government ensuring the continued growth, development and innovation of Antigua and Barbuda’s Tourism sector” remarked Mrs. Simon
